Steve Wadsworth has been an influential senior executive and leader in the Internet and interactive digital media industry since 1995.
Steve has served on the Tapjoy Board since 2011, and prior to that he was president of Disney Interactive Media Group (DIMG), where he was a pioneer for the company’s digital media and technology business including more than 11 years as Disney’s chief Internet and digital media executive.
During his tenure, Steve led DIMG’s global creation and delivery of entertainment and lifestyle content across digital and interactive media platforms, including mobile devices, Internet, video game consoles, and social media platforms.
Steve is a frequent spokesperson on Internet and digital media issues and guest speaker at Internet industry forums. In 2010, he was selected as one of UCLA Anderson’s 100 Inspirational Alumni, and he was named to The Hollywood Reporter’s Digital Power 50 List in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Steve also served on the board of the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) for a decade where he served in the roles of chairman and chairman emeritus.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in engineering from the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration from the UCLA Graduate School of Management.
Al Wood is Chief Financial Officer at Tapjoy. Prior to joining Tapjoy, Al served as the Chief Financial Officer of Veraz Networks, a supplier of VoIP networks and communications equipment in the telecom industry. Al was integral in guiding the company from a late stage startup, through an IPO, and then as a public company, culminating in its successful 2010 merger with Dialogic Corporation, where he became the CFO of the combined entity.
Previously, Al was CFO at PalmSource, the operating system and applications company for handheld devices, where he helped lead the spin out from Palm and managed the company’s subsequent IPO.
Peter Dille is Chief Marketing Officer of Tapjoy and joined the company in 2011. Having previously served as SVP of Marketing at Sony and SVP of Worldwide Marketing for THQ, Peter brings extensive consumer marketing and technology expertise with a particular focus on interactive entertainment.
At Sony, Peter was responsible for marketing the company’s highly successful PlayStation platform and growing the brand to a multi-billion dollar business. Peter is passionate about all things media and technology and often speaks at major industry events and conferences. He is married with three teenaged kids — ensuring that he gets plenty of IT support.
Jeff Drobick is Chief Product Officer at Tapjoy, responsible for delivering cutting-edge products that extend our leadership position in mobile advertising & monetization. Tapjoy is the leading value creation engine for application publishers - engaging users and delivering compelling results for advertisers.
Jeff brings to the team rich experience in advertising, digital media and eCommerce marketplaces. Previously, Jeff was President and CEO of Geeknet Media, a publisher in B2B technology with over 40 million IT professionals.
Prior to Geeknet, Jeff spent nearly 12 years with eBay in technology / product. As VP of Customer Service Technology Solutions, Jeff was responsible for the global CS product initiatives critical to improving eBay’s end-to-end service experience. Jeff was also VP of Information Management & Delivery and Product Development – responsible for analytic infrastructure, marketing, merchandising and advertising technology in one of the most dynamic and rich information environments in the commerce space. Simply put, his group charter was to be eBay’s information engine, delivering data rich killer applications.
Prior to eBay, Jeff spent nearly eight years at Accenture in their Global Technology Information Services practice. Jeff served clients in: products, government, utilities, food service, and eCommerce.
Claire Hough leads Tapjoy’s Engineering team, creating innovative and robust systems that meet and exceed the expectations of Tapjoy users. One of Silicon Valley’s most effective engineering leaders, Claire has worked for numerous tech companies, including Netscape, Napster and Nextag.
Prior to Tapjoy, Claire was Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder at Citrus Lane, an ecommerce startup that focuses on parents. Claire loves the excitement and challenges of a fast-growing startup, and looks forward to taking Tapjoy to the next level.
Jim Jones is Vice President and General Manager of Sales at Tapjoy, where is responsible for running advertising and ad operations. In his role, he helps brands to leverage Tapjoy’s innovative mobile advertising solutions to reach their target audience and create meaningful mobile experiences.
Prior to joining Tapjoy, Jim was America’s Regional Vice President at Yahoo!, where he was responsible for managing and growing revenue with the Top 100 Global Ad Age accounts. Jones developed and initiated the global representation model for Yahoo! and helped scale the business unit’s revenue from $200 Million to $350 Million. Prior to Yahoo!, Jones was the Regional Vice President of West Coast Sales for CNET Networks, a leading source of technology and consumer electronics news and information.
Alexis serves as Tapjoy’s Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary and is responsible for overseeing all of the company’s legal matters. She has, for two decades, served in government and counseled clients in private practice and in-house. Alexis served as a senior policy analyst for California Governor Pete Wilson and was later appointed as the first general counsel & assistant director for the California Department of Information Technology. Since leaving public service, she has provided counsel to company management and clients throughout Silicon Valley and the world regarding commercial transactions, mobile, social, gaming, online promotions, digital media, advertising, ecommerce, technology licensing, privacy, human resources, M&A, government regulations and policy, and the protection of intellectual property assets.
Her prior positions include serving in-house at Coupons.com, Bally Gaming (NYSE: BYI), Ironport (acquired by Cisco Systems (NASDAQ: CSCO)), Artisan Components (acquired by Arm (NASDAQ: ARMH)), and Securify (acquired by McAfee, Inc.), and in the technology group at Cooley LLP. Alexis holds a B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. Alexis is admitted to the practice of law in California, New York and the District of Columbia.
Christine Lee is Senior Vice President of Developer Relations at Tapjoy. In her role, she leads the teams tasked with fostering and growing relationships with developers, and guiding the development of new Tapjoy features that improve developers’ experience with the network.
Leveraging more than 10 years of experience working in business development and sales & marketing, including a position leading the partnership and strategy program at YouTube, Christine oversees business development, publisher sales, account management and operations with thousands of partners worldwide. Christine has an undergraduate degree in business administration from UC Berkeley and an MBA from UPenn’s Wharton School of Business.
Paul Longhenry is Vice President and General Manager, Business and Corporate Development at Tapjoy, where he is responsible for direction and execution of strategic partnerships and M&A efforts.
Prior to joining Tapjoy in early 2011, Paul was a Principal with D.E. Shaw Ventures where he focused on investments across the mobile sector. Previously, Paul served as VP of Business Development for Sonim Technologies, a mobile VoIP software and services provider. Before Sonim, Paul was an early stage mobile investor for 3i Venture Capital.
